During the golden age of English bookbinding, a small group of craftsmen
were known as the Queen's Binder. In 1675 one of this group created
this cover to hold Richard Allestree’s The Government of the Tongue. It
is now held in the British Library.
The notebook has 128 unlined pages of 120gsm FSC certified paper in a 210 x 300mm (A4) format with a ribbon marker and a pouch inside the hard cover with two metal clips.
Paperblanks take great pride in the quality of their notebooks, they are all Smyth sewn to ensure that the binding remains true for years to come. We tested their papers with our fountain pens before stocking them, and they perform well.
