As with any flex nib, the Noodlers flex fountain pens work by moderating the stroke width through pressure. Apply slight pressure the downstroke to flair the tines for a wider line and lift on your upstroke in a slow and even manner.

You may find residual oil in the feed from the manufacturing process so we recommend you flush your pen prior to initial use. A simple flush with water or a little dish soap should suffice.

I know that the only way to decide whether you really like a pen or not is to hold it, which is kindof difficult to do over the internet, so I have a solution. Buy it. If you don't like it, ship it back (your cost and everything must be returned in like new condition), and I will give you a full refund. I don't think that you can get fairer than that.
