A classic pencil, launched in 1905, upgraded to provide better performance and environmental sustainability.  The lead is bonded to the wood surround to reduce breakages.  The Jumbo has an extra thick (5.3mm diameter) graphite lead.

100% of the wood used by Faber-Castell comes from sustainable forests, of which more than 95% is FSC certified.  This is combined with a water based varnish to minimise pollution during the production process.
