A classic pencil, launched in 1905, upgraded to provide better performance and environmental sustainability.  The lead is bonded to the wood surround to reduce breakages.

100% of the wood used by Faber-Castell comes from sustainable forests, of which more than 95% is FSC certified.  This is combined with a water based varnish to minimise pollution during the production process.
