Wearingeul interprets, expresses, re-designs art works with fresh and modern insight. Art works such as literature, music etc, which are visually amorphous and vague, are the main sources of Wearingeul projects. The "Colour of Literature' is their project expressing the stories and impressions of literature works with colours. Wearingeul inks illustrate the specific scenes or atmosphere of famous novels and poems.

From the World Myths and Legends Ink series, 'The Great Sage Heaven's Equal' ink celebrates the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West". The main character Sun Wukong obtained the title of "The Great Sage Heaven's Equal', and this ink is inspired by the Hwangryongpo and golden headband worn by the protagonist.  In areas where the ink is applied generously, it often forms a rich red border.
